Ever hear the expression “Aww, it’s too late. I can’t do …”

Well, I’m just not a real strong proponent of that comment. I mean, ya, if you want a chocolate chip cookie and there’s none left, well then, it’s too late. You can’t have one.

But I think that expression is meant in a far less “literal” sense. And so THAT’S what I just don’t buy into. It’s never too late to be, to do, to try… to say I’m sorry, I love you, I appreciate you. If you’re here … then it’s just never too late.

At the beginning of the year I came upon a video that was “shared” from one person to another and eventually made its way to me. Now, I don’t want to tell you what it is, that would ruin the surprise, diminish the intrigue. What I will say is I’ve been wanting to share it here with you but my day, my life, my schedule constantly seemed to be like a runaway train . . . and I’m finally catching up.

So . . . here it is . . . a beautifully inspiring video. Inspiring not just for the music, the vocals, the instrumentation; not just for the imagery, the phrases or the serenity it invokes; but inspirational also for its message . . . so simple, so profound, so true.

Please enjoy this beautiful video by Angel Love. “Share” it with your friends. Employ it in your life. And then . . .

Go find something you wanted to do that you thought it was to late to do and

Just Do It

because . . .

It’s Never Too Late !

Well a Happy Day Light Saving Time … is over … to you !!!

Hope you remembered to get up at 2 am and turn your clocks back so your sleep could be interrupted so that you could get an extra hour’s sleep – now that makes sense, doesn’t it??

Well, it’s Sunday, you’ve woken up to fall back into messin’ with your circadian rhythm. So, whether you :

  • remembered to turn your clock back before you went to bed
  • got up at 2:00 and tended to the task (seek counseling) or
  • totally forgot and arrived at the coffee shop before it opened …

Enjoy Your Day !

Kick back, relax and soak it all up because …

it’s Sunday and …

Sharing sentiments yesterday over the loss we all felt hearing the news of the passing of Steve Jobs, I stumbled upon a YouTube video. Actually, I “like” YouTube so they sent it to me.

In hindsight, I’m sure I quietly had a prayer (thought) rumbling around in my head. Somebody heard it. Was it Jobs? Perhaps… because he sure came through… YouTube.

It’s been a while since I’ve been so affected by such common sense Words of Wisdom. Well, actually, I’m going to give myself a little credit here … I think Jobs’ message resonated with me because its point is an arrow I’ve always followed.

Listen to the outstanding words from an outstanding man and let them churn in the gristmill of your mind. Then “hear” them when they rise to the occasion of your thoughts. Don’t dissect the inspiration – simply let it in. Because this is what happens …

Somewhere during your daily endeavors your heart will cry out for direction as mine did very early this morning. In the stillness of the early dawn I heard Jobs’ question: “Do you like where you are right now?” With immediacy a response arrived. “No.”

“Where you are right now” could be physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, personal or professional … it’s a question hopefully we all have all day long about all the things in our lives.

I bolted upright at the sound of this quiet bugle call then heard “So what are you going to do?” (another question of inspiration I “heard” from the phenomenal gift-giving wisdom of Dr. Loretta Standley).

The concern was in my heart

The guidance was in Steve Jobs’ question

The choice was in Dr. Standley’s poignancy

The choice … all mine !

Ask and you shall receive … Listen and you shall hear … Follow and you shall arrive …

Doubt and you shall succumb …but to what ?

As you lament the passing of a man who made such a contribution in so many, many ways, think about the brilliance he put into his work and all that it does for you.

Then take a moment to listen to the brilliance in these words of wisdom from Steve Jobs. If you think what he did professionally impacted your life, that’s nothing compared to this final gift to impact, ignite and inspire your life.

Steve Jobs ~ Rest in Peace
